  3. 1.  To use the IPD Modula-2* system for architecture <ARCH> please get:
  4.  
  5.       - the installation script "ipdm2s.install",
  6.       - the documentation archive "ipdm2s.doc.tar", and
  7.       - the distribution archive "ipdm2s.<VERSION>.<ARCH>.tgz".

  10. 2.  To install version <VERSION> of the IPD Modula-2* system in directory
  11.     <INSTALL_DIR> for architecture <ARCH> please execute:
  12.  
  13.       "ipdm2s-install <VERSION> <INSTALL_DIR> <ARCH>"

  16. *** WARNING ***
  17.  
  18.   The install script overwrites the files ".mspath", "Xmsp", and "architecture"
  19.   in the directory <INSTALL_DIR>. If you have already installed IPD Modula-2*
  20.   for another architecture and possibly modified these files, you should back
  21.   them up before starting the new install procedure.
  22.      The install script also overwrites any existing IPD Modula-2* installation
  23.   in directory <INSTALL_DIR> for architecture <ARCH>. If you want to keep your
  24.   current installation you must back it up, too.
